SpoilStack is a job and machine tracking tool for excavation contractors, run by Crux Labs. Here's what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What We Collect

• Your name, email, and password (password is encrypted with Argon2 — we can't see it)
• The data you enter: jobs, machines, haul counts, todos, notes, photos, documents
• Basic analytics (page views via Plausible — no cookies, no tracking across sites)

What We Do With It

Run the app. That's it. Specifically:

• Show your jobs, machines, and haul counts to you and your crew
• Send login codes and billing emails
• Show weather forecasts for your job site addresses

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not share your information with anyone except the services that run the app (hosting, email delivery, payment processing).

Where Your Data Lives

• Your data is stored on servers we manage ourselves
• Photos and documents are stored on Cloudflare R2, only accessible to your company
• The app keeps a local copy on your device so it works offline — even in the hole with no signal
• Payments go through Stripe. We never see your card number.

If You Cancel or Leave

• Cancel anytime. Your data sticks around for 90 days in case you come back.
• Want it gone sooner? Email us and we'll delete everything.
• You can export your data any time you want.

Kids

This is software for excavation contractors. It's not for children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll email you.
